1.) Depersonalize:  Whether you have lived in your home for 20 years or 2; your house has accumulated personal memorable for your growing family. In preparation for getting your home on market, it is now time to take down personal photos, degree certifications and any other personal artifacts that could be distracting to a buyer. 3.) Declutter: It's imperative to remove any unused pieces of furniture or those blocking walk ways. Clear the coffee tables, night stands and kitchen cabinets of any "nicknacks." Again, we want the buyer to be able to appreciate the space, size and picture their family living there. Spend just a few minutes and visualize the home as if it was the first time you had entered.
